Waste Management and Sorting:

  • a) Minimize the effect of the environment.
  • b) Comply with legislative requirements.
  • c) Reduce the amount of waste by prioritizing recycling.
  • d) Promote the reduction of waste generation.

Scope: This procedure applies to all the waste we generate in the plant. Classification:

  • a) Household (leftovers, cleaning waste)
  • b) Recyclable (paper, cardboard, wood, solvents, polyethylene, cans, line discard)
  • c) Special (elements impregnated with ink and hydrocarbons, chemicals, batteries, fluorescent tubes)

Both HOUSEHOLD and RECYCLABLE wastes are NON-POLLUTING.
On the other hand, SPECIAL WASTES are POLLUTING.
